Fruit Tour Cashier
Available In: Michigan, Minnesota, and North Dakota
Summary: Fruit Tour Cashiers are the front line ambassadors of Freshly Picked, responsible for delivering warm, positive customer experiences while handling transactions.
Work Availability: This is a seasonal position either 6-8 weeks in the summer or 3-4 weeks in the Fall, Winter, and Spring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product selection.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems.
- Handle fruit with care and maintain display quality.
Fruit Tour Slinger
Available In: Michigan, Minnesota, and North Dakota
Summary: Fruit Tour Slingers are the muscle of Freshly Picked, responsible for setting up the events, unloading fruit from our tour trucks, and feeding the cashiers with the product needed for customer sales.
Work Availability: This is a seasonal position either 6-8 weeks in the summer or 3-4 weeks in the Fall, Winter, and Spring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Care: Minimize incidents of damaged fruit due to mishandling.
- Cleanliness & Cold Chain: Maintain a clean and organized environment and maintain the cold chain of the fruit to maximize fruit quality.
- Team Support: Complete assigned setup/teardown tasks within allotted time and maximize flow of customer line by having all products available for cashiers.
Fruit Tour Driver
Available In: Michigan, Minnesota, and North Dakota
Summary: Fruit Tour Drivers are the logistic arm of Freshly Picked, responsible for transporting fruit either on box trucks (non-CDL) or tractor/trailer (CDL), unloading fruit from our tour trucks, and ensuring the tour stays on schedule.
Work Availability: This is a seasonal position either 6-8 weeks in the summer or 3-4 weeks in the Fall, Winter, and Spring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Crew Safety: Ensure safety of team and product while in transit and during setup/teardown.
- Timeliness: Arrive on-time for setup of events and maintain compliant DOT requirements.
- Team Support: Assist the Fruit Slingers with setup/teardown of the events and with handling of fruit.
